The ideal candidate for our Breakfast Cook will model servant leadership, professional presentation and a background in the culinary field. The lead cook must have a positive attitude, be friendly and welcoming to guests, treat their staff respect and consideration and prepare excellent meals. The Breakfast Cook will also have mainly early morning to late afternoon hours to provide breakfast and help prep for the remainder of the day.
Job Description:
The position of the BreakfastCook will encompass all aspects of the CTR kitchen including but not limited to:
- Menu development & planning
- Food Ordering & Prep
- Positive leadership and mentoring of staff and scheduling
- Daily kitchen cleaning schedule and overall cleanliness of all aspects of the kitchen
- Compliance with federal, state and county health regulations
- Developing and monitoring food and labor budget
- Monitoring equipment and repairs
- Cooking for guests and staff
- Menu planning
- Ordering
- Quality control
- Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen to health department standards
- Washing dishes and utensils
- Presenting food in a timely and attractive manner
- Periodically making a store run for small or missed food items
Perks
Ranch employees are paid an hourly wage plus time and a half for all hours worked over 40 in a week. Pay period is every two weeks.
On top of your hourly wage, room and board, staff receives an end-of-season bonus of $1.00 an hour for each hour worked as long as the dates outlined in their employment agreement are completed satisfactorily.
Wi-Fi is available in staff housing.
