Bar Lazy J Ranch

Our kitchen assistant is so important to making the guests’ experience top notch! After a long day in the saddle or enjoying other ranch activities, meal times are what everyone looks forward to! This position assists the chef and sous chef with prepping food for meals, plating breakfast and dinners, setting up buffets, kitchen clean up and other miscellaneous tasks. Since we offer an open kitchen, you’ll find the guests will love to stop and say hello! Lodging and all meals are included on top of an hourly wage for this position. Our staff eats the same as our guests! We seek an individual who is on-time, positive, great in a team setting, efficient with their time, detail oriented and loves putting their culinary talents to work! Come join us in the Rocky Mountains for all the fun as you enjoy ranch amenities and all the public land/adventures around us!

Here at Bar Lazy J, our staff are treated like family! Our small, family-owned ranch has been in operation for over 100 years with both staff and guests returning year after year to their home away from home. We offer housing right on ranch close to everything and common areas for the staff to enjoy. There is Wifi when you need it, but don't forget to go out and enjoy ALL the public lands in every direction for camping, hiking, biking and plenty of lakes, rivers and reservoirs for swimming, fishing and floating if you desire. Our staff are served the same fantastic meals as our guests and there are no deductions for housing or food. Use the ranch amenities in your time off including horseback riding, pool, hot tub/sauna, fishing, mountain bikes and more.
