Come ride the Rockies! Who wouldn’t LOVE to be paid to ride horses? Wranglers must demonstrate good horsemanship skills on and off horseback and possess excellent communication skills. Our guests LOVE the wranglers and love a great conversation on a long ride through the mountains. Wranglers are responsible for leading trail rides, feeding, grooming and tacking the horses, jingling the 100+ herd in the mornings and fence and trail maintenance. We seek “horse-people” who are on time, motivated, safety-minded, enthusiastic and great in a team setting. Wranglers must be able to stay through the entire season and Children’s Wranglers must be available until mid-late August. Lodging and excellent food is included on top of hourly pay! Wranglers receive 2 days off each week so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors and adventures our area has to offer. Here at Bar Lazy J, our staff are treated like family! Our small, family-owned ranch has been in operation for over 100 years with both staff and guests returning year after year to their home away from home. We offer housing right on ranch close to everything and common areas for the staff to enjoy. There is Wifi when you need it, but don't forget to go out and enjoy ALL the public lands in every direction for camping, hiking, biking and plenty of lakes, rivers and reservoirs for swimming, fishing and floating if you desire. Our staff are served the same fantastic meals as our guests and there are no deductions for housing or food. Use the ranch amenities in your time off including horseback riding, pool, hot tub/sauna, fishing, mountain bikes and more.
