Recreation Overview
C Lazy U Ranch offers a variety of activities—at the heart of it all is theridingprogram, which offers instruction for riders of all experience levels, and a myriad of different trails rides over 8,000 breathtaking acres of Rocky Mountain scenery, from slow and scenic to fast lope rides; in addition, guests are more than welcome to ride in the 12,000 square foot heated indoor arena. No matter where you chose to ride, you’ll be doing it on a horse that's yours for the week. Other on-site activities include ropes course, zip line tennis (lessons included at no additional charge), swimming, an outdoor hot tub, , , guided hikes and mountain biking, , full service spa, andOrvis endorsed fishing on either the fully stocked pond or the 2 miles of private stream that run through the property.. For advernterous guests, the C Lazy U provides complimentary shuttles for off-site river rafting and hot air ballooning, try their hand at fly fishing in one of the area's pristine lakes or lakes, or enjoy golf at one of four excellent local courses located within minutes of the ranch.
Dining Overview
Meals range from mountaintop breakfasts and barbecue lunches in the summer, to blackened chicken and steak sandwiches for lunch during the winter. Guests are served hors d'oeuvres in the lodge lounge each evening during cocktail hour, and can enjoy the convenience of a fully stocked bar as well, before enjoying a 4 course dinner of traditional beef back ribs, garlic beef tenderloin or buffalo prime rib au jus to name a few. C Lazy U offers an array of dining options to satisfy the heartiest appetites and can easily accommodate special diets.

Winter Program
Featuring the powder-like snow that Colorado is famous for, C Lazy U winter activities range from back country excursions to down time in front of a fire. Guests have the opportunity to participate in a multitude of activities including cross-country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, snow tubing, sledding, sleigh rides and indoor and outdoor horseback riding. The holiday season offers special tree trimming and decorating parties, caroling, a visit from Santa and a traditional Christmas dinner. Guest rooms are furnished with a Christmas tree for guests to decorate. To ring in the new year, celebrations include traditional swing dancing and torch lit ice skating.
