Lodging Description:
We have beautifully decorated cabins, each unique in layout and location. Or perhaps you'd prefer to try one of our fun lodge rooms or the cowboy atmosphere of our western dance hall rooms. Wherever you stay, you'll never have a better night's sleep than at the Tarryall River Ranch.

Recreation Description:
Each day you'll have any number of fun options, or you can just take it easy by the Tarryall pool or go for a hike around the ranch amid the awesome scenery. You can ride your own horse on any number of picturesque trails guided by our experienced wranglers�or perhaps you'd prefer to team-pen or practice for the ranch rodeo in the arena. We always have plenty of choices so you can choose your level or destination for morning and afternoon rides. You may want to try the overnight ride and sleep in a tent or out under the stars. You can fall in love with your horse and spend hours in the saddle in pretty country, it's a great way to see the mountains. Or you can take your fishing pole and spend a few quiet hours down by the river; there is nothing quite like the thrill of that rainbow on your line. You can even practice your marksmanship at our weekly trapshooting. Kids love the ranch-built playground when they aren't out riding or fishing, or spending time at the petting zoo. And everyone enjoys a day trip to some of the best whitewater rafting in the state. Whatever you choose, each day will be a great day here at the Tarryall River Ranch.

Food Description:
Get ready for some great cooking here at Tarryall. Not only is Bridget a part of the Tesch family, she is our head chef, and no one can bake like she does! In addition, we always have plenty of mouthwatering main courses and side dishes along with yummy desserts. Whether one of the cookouts by the pool, an outside barbeque, bacon and eggs cooked over an open fire on the Breakfast Ride or everyone gathered in the lodge dining room, each meal is truly a treat here at the ranch!

Activities

Children's Program:
We make sure everyone has a great time here at the ranch from the littlest cowpoke to the most seasoned grandpa. We have a fun program for 3-11 year olds, which breaks into two groups for riding. The 3-5 year olds take turns being led on our pony horse while the 6-11year olds ride out on the trails. In the afternoons, the program keeps them all busy swimming, hiking, doing crafts and playing around the ranch, although children over six can ride with their parents if they choose. Teens hike, ride, fish and more in their program�they can plan their day with the teen counselor each morning or do their own thing. All programs are optional so families can spend time together but children and teens love being part of them.
