Lodging Description:
Accommodations are replete in Western charm and comfort, all with front porches, swings, hummingbird feeders, and blooming flowers. There are four spacious suites in our lodge, varying in size from two to three bedrooms each. The Beaver, Cherokee, Pawnee, Cheyenne, Birdhouse, Cache and Porcupine cabins all overlook the river and can accommodate between 1 and 6 guests each. Two cabins have fireplaces and all units have private baths. Daily maid service is provided.

Recreation Description:
From square dancing to our Mountain Man show, Cherokee Park Ranch offers a multitude of non-riding activities to choose from. Highlights include river rafting, fishing, skeet shooting, nature walks, guided mountain hiking, mountain biking, sight seeing trips to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Territorial Park in Laramie, WY. Evenings are filled with hayrides, sing-a-longs and stargazing. There's lots going on at the ranch with several events to choose from. Nothing is required...you may do as little or as much as you like.

Food Description:
Meals are designed to satisfy all appetites, both hearty and light. We boast splendid home cooking served family-style and we will not neglect your sweet tooth. Several cookouts during the week include steak and ribs, but always with a chicken option. Adults also enjoy a candlelight dinner one evening while the kids have thie own cookout. We are confident you will be delighted with the variety and quality of food service. You might want to lose a couple of pounds before vacationing with us! Our homemade breads, desserts, and cookies are irresistable.

Activities

Children's Program:
This place is for kids of ALL ages! Cherokee Park Ranch is 100% kid-friendly. We offer an extensive children's program for 3-5 and 6-12 year old age groups. Those six and older are given their own horse for the week and the lil' cowpokes are led on horseback by one of our dedicated kids' counselors. Othe special activities include wildlife hikes, fishing, nature studies, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, panning for gold, hiking to an old mine, a 'kids only' cookout with the ranch staff, and a specail overnight in our bonafide Indian teepee. If you like, you may even join in on the kid's fun! Your child is not required to participate in any activity, we simply provide a full day's worth of counseled fun should parents desire a little freedom. Our kid's counselors work very hard to guarantee your children have a fun and laughter-filled week at our ranch. Parents may be assured of the responsible care and special attention their children receive. For younger ones under three, we offer a unique opportunity...bring your own baby-sitter free of charge.
