Guests can choose from a variety of lodging options to suit the needs of individuals, couples, families and groups. The Ranch's first rate accommodations, most of which have fireplaces, include multi-room suites, twin-bedded rooms for children, deluxe suites with wirlpool tubs and a secluded honeymoon cabin.

Recreation Description:
C Lazy U Ranch offers a variety of activities. The riding program is the heart of ranch activities offering instruction for riders of all levels of experience, trail riding over 8000 acres of breathtaking Rocky Mountain scenery or riding in the 12,000 square foot indoor, heated arena on a horse that's yours for the week. Other on-site activities include tennis, swimming, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, whirlpool, sauna, guided hikes, ropes course, full service spa, and pond and stream fishing. For an additional charge, guests may enjoy golf at one of four excellent local courses, river rafting, or try their hand at fly fishing in one of the area's pristine lakes or lakes.

Food Description:
Meals range from mountaintop breakfasts and barbecue lunches in the summer to blackened chicken and steak sandwiches for lunch during the winter. Guests are served cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the lodge lounge each evening before enjoying a dinner of traditional beef back ribs, garlic beef tenderloin or buffalo prime rib au jus to name a few. C Lazy U offers an array of dining options to satisfy the heartiest appetites and can easily accommodate special diets.

Activities

Children's Program:
Our smaller guests receive the same detailed attention as adults. The comprehensive summer and winter programs at the C Lazy U are organized by creative and energetic counselors and offer fun as well as educational activities. Children are grouped in three age groups (3-5 year olds, 6-12 year old and teens) and enjoy lunch and dinner with their peers and counselors. In an effort to maintain a balance between family and adult time, children enjoy breakfast with their parents and join them at day's end for swimming or tennis before dinner as well as after the adult dinner hour for the evening activity.

Winter:
Featuring the powder-like snow that Colorado is famous for, C Lazy U winter activities range from back country excursions to down time in front of a fire. Guests have the opportunity to participate in a multitude of activities including cross-country skiing, ice skating, snow tubing, sledding, sleigh rides and indoor and outdoor horseback riding. The holiday season offers special tree trimming and decorating parties, caroling, a visit from Santa and a traditional Christmas dinner. Guest rooms are furnished with a Christmas tree for guests to decorate. To ring in the new year, celebrations include traditional swing dancing and torch lit ice skating.
