Lodging Description:
This vintage ranch has been beautifully restored and updated, carefully retaining the character of its glory days of the early 1900s. The Guest Lodge, (the original ranch house), has five bedrooms (all with private baths), a living room and sitting room with fireplaces, a kitchenette, and indoor sun room. Four lovely cabins furnished and decorated with locally handcrafted furniture, art, and antiques complete the lodging options. Plush feather beds with puffy down comforters are an ideal place to crawl into after an active, full ranch day.

Recreation Description:
A full slate of activities and adventures designed for those who savor a breathtaking environment with towering peaks and high mountain meadows. Guests enjoy horseback riding, fly-fishing, archery, hiking, team cattle penning, arena games on horseback, and a newly added trails-skills course. Hot tubs and hammocks are placed around the ranch for those seeking relaxing solitude. The Elk Lodge offers billiards and snooker, a fly tying table, library, full workout room, game room, business center and fly shop. A stream-side massage "outpost" studio provides a place for relaxed pampering. White water rafting, clay sport shooting, glider & bi-plane rides, glassblowing, wine tours and upland bird hunting are available with SFR's off ranch outfitters.

Food Description:
Smith Fork Ranch has a farm-to-table approach with its cuisine and uses locally-grown organic fruits, vegetables, eggs, poultry, meat and game. Our own organic garden provides a majority of the produce for the evening's fare. The menus change with the harvest and special diets are accommodated. Enjoy four-course meals on the open-sided pavilion, delicious barbeque served stream side, gourmet picnic-lunches under a shade-tree, and hearty breakfasts in our Dinner Bell Cookhouse. An excellent Kid's menu is available as well.

• Adult Rate: SFR does not charge per person, rather SFR charges according to accommodation for the week. Please inquire for pricing, (970)-921-3454 ext. 1, info@smithforkranch.com
• Children Rate: Since SFR does not charge per person we do not have a children's rate. We do have a children's program at no charge.
• Service Charge/Tip Rate: We have a service charge of 15%. For guests who wish to leave a gratuity, funds are put in staff tip pool.

Activities

Children's Program:
The ranch is a joy for children! The well-organized kid's program teaches children how to fly fish and horseback ride. Archery, gold panning, outdoor games, scavenger hunts, tree house exploration, tie-dying and nature hikes are a few of the many activities planned each day. Children may dine with their parents or choose to eat with the children's counselors and play games into the evening so mom and dad can enjoy cocktails and a four course dinner. Program is open to children aged 5 and above. Those under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bed & Breakfast:
We are more than a bed and breakfast at Smith Fork Ranch. During our fall season we offer "Mountain Getaways" - Lodging and full breakfast. Dinner, picnic basket lunches, and all activities (ie horseback riding, fly fishing, and all on ranch activities)are ala carte. There is a two night minimum. Smith Fork Ranch also offers specialty weekends such as a Culinary Weekend, and Cowgirl Weekend (please inquire for dates and pricing).

Weddings:
Smith Fork Ranch will be available for a limited number of exclusive weddings in September and October. All inclusive wedding package for 30 guests including; rehearsal dinner, champagne and hors d' oeuvres, wedding dinner, accommodations,on ranch activities, and brunch on the day of departure.
